Start weight check was 114.5 kg/251 lbs.



Official weight loss for January is 10.5 kg/23 lbs.
Official weight loss for February is 3.5kg/7.5 lbs
Official weight loss for March is 3.5 kg/7.5 lbs
Total weight loss for 2012 is 17.5 kg/38.5 lbs


Next official weigh-in May 1st.

Breakfast:-  Water.Strawberry tea. Smoothie = 20gm carb.


Snack 1:-  Strawberry tea

Lunch:-   Frittata with tomato, capsicum and lettuce = 14gm carb, strawberry tea

Snack 2:-  None, strawberry tea

Dinner:-  Scotch egg meat loaf, lettuce, tomato = 12gm carb, strawberry tea.

Snack 3:-  Water



Carbohydrates:-  48 grams  




Drinking:-  Water x 2
Strawberry and Mango Tea, etc x 5

Daily Goal:-  1.5 lt. or 5 - 6 large cups *yes*

Exercise:-  15 minutes walk or cross-trainer *no*


I am aiming to walk or cross-trainer 3 km or more each day this month.

Reporting Back ..........


A very lazy morning spent in bubbles. I made good use of the spa bath. Went to Greg's for lunch and we chatted for a while.


About 3 pm we found our way to Jackie and David's home, not very far from Greg's. We met beautiful Chico, who wasn't very sure of us and did a lot of barking and even some growling until eventually settling down and sniffing us. I think we met with approval in the end. 


Biscuit is gorgeous and so quiet. I did see David get at least one anxious look. "Dad are you going to rescue me from Chico." Finally Biscuit climbed onto the couch between John and I and settled with her head on John's leg. Very sweet.


Thanks Jackie and David for a lovely hour or so. Look forward to seeing you again next time we are in Rotorua.


We could have chatted on for much longer but we needed to get back to Greg's where we had tea before coming back to the motel. I've been off colour again all day. I'm sure it's my BP medication, in particular the Felodipine. I hope the specialist I see on Wednesday has a solution. I'm not going to overcome high blood pressure taking a medicine that makes me feel so sick I don't want to exercise, let alone feel well enough to do anything.


Again I'm so tired I'm in bed and it's only 7 pm. 

How did I do?


I think I did well for a day away from home. I am disappointed I didn't make going for a walk a priority. It's been a beautiful day, perfect for walking.
