It was lovely to wake up to this beautiful view at sunrise. Being lazy watching Sky, which we don't have access to normally. Blogging. John is doing shopping.

I am kind of hibernating. It certainly makes it easier to stay on plan when I can have my meals when I need them and not according to our shopping, travel, visiting, etc. This is probably not socially healthy but I'm making the most of it. We do have 2 BIG days in a row, Monday and Tuesday next week and it's only 4 weeks before we go south to stay with Wayne and Amanda for 2 weeks. That will be another kind of challenge.

I have not begun today well with so many cappuccinos but will be on plan the rest of the day and somewhere there will be another walk to the beach.

DAY 59

Days Bread Free x 9 = There was a minor cheat last night. I'm not perfect but close enough. John toasted himself some hot cross buns. I thought I wanted one but only took one medium bite and that was that. Not worth breaking my plan for and I'm not counting it as significant.

Weight 7.30 am - 94 kg - it stuck, even a smidgeon under so it must be so.

Dietary Ketosis *NO* probably need more exercise. I can't go much lower food-wise. Or maybe the veggie soup is too high in carbs. It's elicious.

Beautiful sunny morning. I have casserole to make, a little housework, packing, put some plants in their pots, and bath and wash hair. I think I'll get it all done before lunch. If I don't spend too much time blogging.

DAY 57

Days Bread Free x 7 = I made it so now to add another day. Would have loved a piece of bread to sop up the juice from my baked mushroom but I resisted.

Weight 7.30 am - 94 kg - Wow! I have now earned my 25 pound lost button. It's taken forever ,,,, not strictly speaking but I got my 20 pound lost button back in June last year.

Dietary Ketosis *?* The stix I have are extremely expensive so I will test every second day.

Better morning but still chilly. I've got my cosy snuggle sack wrapped around my legs and am wearing warm longs. Trouble with Low Carb is that I feel the cold especially as my weight begins to drop down. At least I'm doing it again.

REPORTING BACK.........Kept to program in spite of feeling very low because I'd gone too long without food. I really must begin to watch out that eat at least every 3 hours. Also have not had enough water. It's 11 pm and I'm struggling to stay awake so it's bed for me.

Cold showery. Not such a great day. Must do laundry and begin to get ready to pack to go to Joanie's tomorrow where we baby-sit the house, cats and dog for a week.

REPORTING BACK......... Correction. It's Tuesday, so I have another day to get organised at home, we go to Joanie and Mike's. The sun came through in a feeble way about mid-day and things warmed up. I read blogs all day. This seems to be what I do right now.

I hope I grow out of it but I find people's journals fascinating, whether it be a successful and well written weight loss Blog like Margene's at Believing It's Possible Is Half The Battle or RVers and wanna be Rvers and their travels. I have tidied up my Google reader and right now the list seems managable but I don't think that means I have fewer posts to read daily. Right now I'm pretty much up to date with only about 20 or 30 each day but .... I had to fill the gaps so I've been adding Blogs and reading from the beginning. Currently nearly finished reading Bid Dawg and Freeway, Doug and Sue and I'm about to add another as they have become followers of my Blog. This is more addictive than I need but I'm not going anywhere and mu social life is restricted so why not. The only reason my social life is restricted right now is ME. I have become a little reclusive. Life seems easier that way. Sad but currently true. That's the word from someone who thought they could not live without a full social life and community involvement. Don't ask me why I've changed or if this is a season or permanent.

I'm trying not to mark time socially until I lose weight or we get that financial freedom we need to travel again. It's not terribly healthy to isolate oneself but it certainly takes a lot of stress out of living and leaves more energy to focus on weight loss.

Woke up reasonably early, just before sunrise. Chilly morning promises sunny day. Feel a lot better than yesterday. Getting out my Lean For life Book to treat the program seriously and with respect. I've just read from beginning Margene's Blog and it has re-enthused me to get my act together permanently. Margene stuck to her planned program for over 12 months and now 3 months of transition from Medifast to ordinary and then will be maintenance. I am amazed by those people who chose a plan and do not deviate.

I have some things to work on.

1. remain bread/wheat free.

2. drink enough water, at least 5 large glasses or about 1.5 litre water and fruit/herbal calorie free tea.

3. Get walking.

4. Follow Lean For Life to the letter. I know that I lose an average of 1 kg per week on this program. That would get me to my goal weight of 60 - 58 kg in 37 weeks. That would be pretty much around New Year. Can I do it? The only reason I won't is because I can't be bothered making the effort.Day

REPORTING BACK......... I began to feel nauseous during the afternoon. Ignored it and had 6 almonds and a small piece of cheese. A little later had a painful gut. Knew the food had little to do with it and I was drinking enough water. Continued with water and ate nothing more.

I feel as though today is going to be difficult. I'm starting with a headache and there are no more cappuccinos to lift me. I still have black coffee but right now it's an effort to make it. Hope I feel livelier as the day progresses.
